People don’t understand the difference between a scratch and paint transfer

The story behind this was WD40 was originally supposed to keep ICBM's from becoming rusty or deteriorating quickly for the US military. That is the extent of my knowledge if you know anything else please let me know

Lacquer thinner also works in a pinch, just be really really careful with it

Yea this will last about 5 minutes. All it's doing is the oil is filling in the scratch and reflecting the light.

WD = Water Displacing
40 = Number of tries it took to get the formula right(which was a totally accidental find)

WD40 is the underrated miracle repair spray. I use it to shine tables, in laundry, metals. Etc.

There are a few things you should keep in mind when doing so. First, WD40 is a petroleum-based product, so it can potentially damage the paint on your car

HOW AWESOME! But it probably won't work if the key went thru the paint to the metal 😔

it ll only protect the steel just paint it asap before it ll start to rust under the paint.

Its cheaper to use, used motor oil, apply with a rag and after sun hits, you are back to scratches
