Can confirm this video is 100% true, no bs, I’ve been hard stuck Gold 1 for a couple acts, & on my rank up game to Gold 2 I match mvp’d where as I was barely mid-fragging the games before) so when I ranked up I was surprised to see it shoot through Gold 2 & place me Gold 3 10/100. 1:50 I can confirm this happened to me, I was top fragging and carrying all my teammates for straight away 12 matches and losing with -12 -10RR . When I won the other match I was ranked up from S2 to G1 .

If you feel as if your need lots of rr and mmr just play with people that are slightly above your rank and mmr in a five stack. I bottom fragged and got 27 rr when I usually get 15-25

Complete facts. After the new ranks I actually played seriously on my main for my placements + a few extra games with one of my friends and went from Silver 2 peak to placing in Gold 2 (decent placement games) to double ranking up straight into Plat 1. Didnt need to top frag any of my games, just played my roles.

Last act my all time peak was silver 1 but I didn’t play ranked a lot. A few days before the act ended I played a few ranked games and double ranked up to s3. This act I somehow placed gold 3 and then double ranked up to plat 2. Now I’m going up against diamonds and have no idea what I’m doing lol

recently i got in hold of the gaming laptop of my lil brother and i did my placement on a alt account and suprisingly i got placed in Silver 1 while on my own laptop i got placed iron 3 and when i went to try on my main account, i got double ranked up from iron3 to bronze 2 personnally i didnt thought that my laptop was holding me back by that much

Double demote seems interesting and it could potentially help with the boosting issue. Most of the boosted players have horrible KDR so it would put a lot more pressure on the smurf. Also the occasional asshole who is having a bad day and is intentionally throwing games could see dramatic rank decrease which could limit that as well

Like same thing happened with me, I was at gold 1 or 2 for the past act and when I mvpd in the game having plat 2 as opponents, after win I ranked up from g2 to plat 1.
