What do you mean with, "I do it on my Unifi system"? Are you on a SSH connection with the Hostifi server on which your sites Unifi controler is located? I tried that but it will not allow a terminal connection? Please give more information to from where this script should be run.

UniFi stopped reporting on ports stats with the new UI ... Stopped supporting SNMP (1 2c and 3) on several new products ...

Perhaps you can share ideas on how to get port stats from these devices for reporting, management and troubleshooting?

Sorry, so I'm a new sub. I generally put a cloud key into a client site then manage the different cloud keys with different accounts. Are you saying you have a bunch of sites for your clients in one unifi instance (running on a box/vm/whatevs)? Are you then using an inform address or something to adopt these across the internet or do you adopt them all first. If you already have a video on this I can't find it.

unifi needs an api it looks like, instead of querying the mongodb directly

Tried this on a UDR and it would not work. ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pymongo'
Had to install pip then use pip to install the module..
apt-get install pip
pip3 install pymongo
