I got the crown after someone dropped it at the end, the two other people eliminated each other in solos giving me the win. I then had to win a 2nd match in a row in solos with the crown in my possession the whole match, then I got the emote.

Fun fact: the crown gets more fancy the more you win going from a small to a big shiny crown with gems in it. People are also saying you get more xp from doing things if you wear it

You can lay a trap by putting the crown down but don't leave it to long cause it will go away

As an FYI even in solos u require 2 people to open the vaults. What I did was I broke the floor under one of the henchmen. And it counted as a teammate. For me

The MK7 is a beast! I love that weapon. Shotguns are junk. I just carry an SMG instead.

To make sure u claim when u win with the crown the first time ur able to do the emote automatically

Me and my friends played squads and won 6 games in a row and 5 of them were crown royals and during that win streak I never lost my crown
