Shalom to you all from Israel. I have a kumquat tree in my garden . Every year I make jam out of at least 5 to 6 kg.
It keeps in the fridge and it's very nice. I still have a few kilograms on the tree to do something.

My mum and dad used to have a jack russell terrier who loved cumquats. For ages we didn’t know what it was called and just called it “Bosko’s fruit”. He’s since passed but mum and dad care for that tree more than anything because he loved the fruit so much! He’d jump up and reach the taller branches just to get fruit!

A kumquat tree is the last tree I want to add to my garden. I usually eat them fresh. I didn’t know you could use the fruit to make tea. Thanks for the info. 💚

I guess you can make jam out of them as well. We grow up using the the whole lemon skin included when having it in olive, onion or the white of leeks and lemon slices salad. Delicious!

I bought a kumquat tree and after the first year it didn’t give me any kumquats.. but end up giving me these huge sour oranges years later! 😂🤣🤣😁
One reason why I am hesitant about grafted trees. Lol 😂
