Morning! Would you upgrade for that lens?!
PS. Note at 00:36 made an edit mistake, this was taken with the built in b&w strong contrast profile not edited with the presets see around 09:00 again when I take the photo. I did however redit some raw into B&W too.

Hello Pierre! I have a Sony a6000 and the fact that it's very light and portable makes it possible to have it in my bag everyday even when going to university. Even on hikes it's very suitable!

Just sold my R6 II and placed an order for this camera. I am no longer doing paid work and want something light, portable, powerful and with plenty of lens selection. This fits the bill perfectly.

Been thinking about full-frame vs APS-C for a while now since I was considering the A7C. I've compared a lot of photos the past year and yes, the FF definitely has a better low light performance and bokeh. But looking at it from the perspective of a casual shooter who just does this on travel/vacation, those advantages are better saved for a professional photographer. 90% (maybe even more) of my photos are gonna end up on my phone/social media anyways and people there will rarely know the difference. Maybe some would end up as my desktop wallpaper but it's not like I couldn't live with a bit of worse bokeh.

Also have to think about the costs. FF body and lenses are so expensive and that's what's primarily keeping me away from switching to it. If I had infinite money then I'd go full frame but the price difference between building your own set of lenses for APS-C vs FF can be used for a lots of other things.

I have the Sony A1 and 400 GM and am mainly a wildlife photographer. The results are wonderful, but I have ordered the new A6700 to use with the 70-350 G lens as a lightweight setup for wildlife photography, such as for when I want to go lightweight on foot. The difference in weight is huge, 1kg against 4kg.

The thing are the lenses. And especially now, with 1.2 primes appearing for APS-C, and with the prices of equivalent quality full frame lenses getting higher and higher, I'd go with APS-C any day. I've seen what I can do with both, and while some things are easier with FF, the size and cost savings are a no brainer for me

I want to go full frame as my first camera so I am waiting for the A7C II update as I much prefer the new menu system when navigating the camera but if the price is up more than I expect the a6700 may be my go to.

I have an a6400 and an a6000 both amazing, especially the a6400 pics, videos, low light every light...it's a monster!

Been thinking of upgrading for awhile to Full-Frame and I currently own the a6600. I think it makes sense to wait until Q3-Q4 of this year until a7C Mark II is released to determine if I want to stay APS-C or move to Full-Frame. The a7C Mark II will most likely have the same sensor from the a7 IV with 33mp over 26mp in the a6700. The downside I see is that the 33mp sensor can only do 4K 60fps vs 4K 120fps in the a6700.

Still on the APS-C life. 3 cameras strong. Mostly photography, very little video as you can imagine. Still have an a6000 as my main with no real complaints. Looking to update my lens options than the camera body. Though this is peaking my interest.

Bought a ZVE-10 a while back and have been loving it. I'm immediately interested in this camera, alas it is a big purchase..

Apsc all the way, except for ultra wide stuff, portraits and weddings where you use a deeper bokeh and astro, there is no advantage in getting a full frame and to carry a load of 10kg in ff lenses in my bag is just too much for me 😁 I have a6000 with 3 lenses and seriously thinking about getting this one, in would be finally a real upgrade for the money 😍

I am torn between a7iv and a6700 because full frame is bigger sensor so better low light performance but I would lose 70mm of focal length on my Tamron 35-150 and with me doing sports photography that is something I can't consider ligthly. But the fact that a6700 seems like a really well rounded camera and it costs substantially less than the a7iv makes so right now I am more geard towards the a6700

I have a APS-C (Fuji XT-4) and I'm very happy with my Camera, I also real love the full frame look

I have been using Fullframe for 6 years and now using Fujifilm XT4, the gap between Fullframe and Crop is not too far

I have a full-frame Sony A7 IV and I have to say while I'm very pleased with the results, I very often do not take it with me because of the bulk and the weight. I have 4x Sony E-10 in my video studio, which I don't take because they are mounted and cabled (HDMI & AC via dummy battery) and so I seriously consider a 6700 because I own the Sigma trio of A1.4 prime lenses and the super compact Sigma 18-50 zoom lense.

I've recently traded my Nikon z6II system for the a6700. I am a former professional photographer and now shoot for myself (much more fun). With technology literally accelerating in capabilities, I see no reason to lug around a full frame system especially if your shooting street, (like I do mostly) and couldn't be happier with this Sony. Combine this with Adobe and others constantly enhancing their tools can only make your images better. Current3D design and analysis software can predict how a camera and lens can behave which enables Camera/Lens OEM's the ability to speed up the design process and predict their costs. I can print 16x20 prints with my Epson SureColor P800 in color and B/W with excellent results.

I started out on the a6000 and then went full frame, with the a6400 as a travel camera, I love the lightweight and crop factor of the camera, and use it in combination with my a7c, which is a great camera too!
The new a7000 autofocus is tempting! ❤
