Why Trump Was Fined 9,000 Dollars

Former President Donald Trump was just fined 9,000 dollars by the judge overseeing the hush money trial, so why was he fined 9k? At the begining of the trial, the Judge imposed a Gag order which essentially means Trump can’t talk crap about the judge or jurors or anything like that. But we all know that Donald Trump can’t keep his mouth shut. He posted on truth social that there were undercover liberal activists lying to the judge to get onto the jury. So the Judge fined him for contempt of court 1000 dollars for every time he talked crap about the jurors and questioned the legitimacy of the jury selection process. New York law makes criminal contempt punishable by up to 30 days in jail and a fine of no more than $1,000 per violation. Do you think the judge will give him jail time?

New York City is as liberal as it gets. NY stands hand n hand with LA. Both are pathetic.
Of course there’s not a chance he will get a fair trial. People don’t have integrity anymore. If convicted, he will appeal unless it is a misdemeanor, which is what it is at best.
I also hope he gets all if not most of his legal fees back.
