He deserves recognition for sure.
It never occured to me that drummers don't get enough attention, idk, drummers are part of a band, they don't do solo usually. I mean, I never thought about that. It's always about "front" men or women, the singers, also the guitar players, sometimes the bass guitar players. But yeah, stupidly enough, it's like drummers are just there doing their thing in the back. I know they are essential to the band. I realise how important they are, and they deserve attention and spotlights too, like any member of a band! And Chad is greatly talented, as much as he seems cool and nice!

Chad is the ultimate Chad. Though not machine-precise, he doesn't draw too much attention away from the music either. His professional drumming gets better with every release.

Love Chad Smith one of my favorite drummers. Dude is awesome I modo my drumming off him. Chili Peppers my favorite band to drum to. Been a Peppers fan since early early 90s.

There is one thing I have always held my opinion about. There are and this is my opinion no such thing as a bad drummer, especially one who is a recording artist. They are just that an artist and their artistic expression is through their style of playing the skins. Some may be more talented than others but that don't mean that they suck. It just means that they might not have reached their full potential or not experienced enough yet to be the levels of other drummers. Chad Smith had always had a great rhythm and great timing. He is one of the best in his genre. He had influenced many drummers today. I wish I could only play half as good as he does
