As someone who doesn’t believe in “right person wrong time” this song is exactly what I mean. If it’s the right person then it’s possible to do everything you wanted to do. You can still travel, you can still learn how to love yourself, you can grow with that person by your side. If you believe it’s the wrong time then that person simply wasn’t right. Idk I just feel like if that’s really the right person for you then you won’t feel like you’re being held back or held down

My ex left me because he needed to find himself and go through a journey of self discovery (those were his exact words) and so the lines “You need to go and find yourself” really hit hard. I still love him (he’s the only one I feel love for) and I just…I wish I could’ve told him these lyrics before he left. Maybe I could’ve changed his mind about leaving🥺😔
