We need individuals who are responsible for providing information to start doing the work of trying to wrap their head around this by doing their research, otherwise their talking heads are simply useless. it's not about Sam Altman.. it's about navigating the entry to the rapids at the start of what is becoming a species-defining race. Our brains have evolved over the last 300, 000 years to efficiently hunt and gather food. These new AI systems are incentivized by very different pressures. Ensuring collaborative alignment is very important.
