I have found that truly happy people are not on social media trying to convince everyone they are happy.

I used to share my relationship on FB. I had started dating after my divorce. I'm in my 40's. My friends and family tried to smash whatever happiness I had in my relationship to pieces. It was vicious and nasty. It broke my heart, I truly thought these people would be happy for me. Some of these people went behind my back to spread lies about me. They tried to cause a breakup. I never expected my best friends to start drama over me finally being in a happy and healthy relationship. So, after that I no longer post my relationship on FB. I no longer post my life on FB. Everyone is not your friend. Go live your life and have fun. You don't need anyone's validation on social media.

People outside of my immediate family/friends don’t even know that I’m married. I keep my whole life OFFLINE. Even my coworkers don’t know what my husband looks like. Everything that’s important to me is close to my chest and that’s on protection.
