Mostly it’s the in-laws, relatives and neighbourhood Aunties who just can’t keep their opinions to themselves especially about progressive women. Sumit’s parents are so disrespectful. I married my husband from Pakistan and lived with them over 1 year. I cooked and cleaned the house but I cooked Italian and American food because that is my culture. If they wanted Pakistani food, my mother-in-law would show me how to cook it or do it herself because she knew I wasn’t raised in their culture
