As a 67 year old musclecar fanatic I have followed Steve for more than 30 years.
I have truely enjoyed his knowledge shown in magazines and on YT.
It just break my heart that he have to go thru this ordeal and at the same liqudate all his posessions.
I have donated USD 400 on the GoFund me account and I do urge everyone in the community to step up to the plate and donate whatever you are confortable with.
Speedy recovery, Steve..

Power brakes were offered from day one. I had a 64-1/2 that had factory power drum brakes. You could only get power drum brakes from 64 through 66. No power disc brakes. Power disc brakes came in 67.

Good to see you back doing what you enjoy doing...

We got the VIN, we win: 6 for 1966 model year, R for San Jose, CA assembly, 07 for two door hardtop, A for 289 CID V8 with four barrel, and the rest is the production sequence. The San Jose CA plant operated from 1955 to 1983 and was also known as Milpitas Assembly. The "Bullitt" Mustangs of the 1960s were also assembled at this plant. Other plants assembling Mustangs were Dearborn, MI assembly (closed in 2004) and Metuchen, NJ assembly (also called Edison Assembly, closed in 2004).

We got the tag, we can brag: 65B for two door hardtop with luxury seats, T for Candyapple Red exterior paint, 65 for Red Crinkle Vinyl interior trim, 27H for Friday August 27, 1965 production, 62 for Houston, TX sales district, 1 for 3.00:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking, and 6 for C-4 automatic transmission.

Another nice restoration, on the video at least, just right to drive without issues. Those AC UNITS are hilarious today. Cheers 🇨🇦

worth repeating from a another comment below, steve is not always right, but he is way more knowledgeable than i could ever be on classic cars:

"Power brakes were offered from day one. I had a 64-1/2 that had factory power drum brakes. You could only get power drum brakes from 64 through 66. No power disc brakes. Power disc brakes came in 67."
