I find that Audrey's modest dream life aesthetic has some similarities to a lot of working class immigrant families who aspired to live the American dream. I can see that cheeky, knowing smile during the "there's plastic on our furniture" line in Constance's face 😏. I wonder if she drew from that place of longing, growing up in an immigrant household, during her performance. I loved the emotion that she brought to it. It felt so earnest, especially during the last section where she starts to tear up.
