"Just read the first 700 pages, it gets so good in the final 300" loving every page of these Sanderson books :))....merry Christmas btw!

I really loved Vicious (even though the UK cover is terrible!), and darker shade of magic looks awesome!

I'm so excited to be joining you for a witcher re-read next year. I'm planning to do discussion videos as tags kind of like you would find 'questions for reading groups' in the back of some novels. Thank you for kickstarting the idea! :)

Two questions!

Do you have something against dust jackets? And how far are you in Dresden Files?

So many great books here! I want to read more of Fable at some point because I loved the first volume. I also just bought the first Witcher book for the read along next month!!!

My 2017 faves are defenitely:
The Six of Crows duology (I think The Crooked Kingdom was such a satisfying wrap up, it was so fast paced, I took genuine pleasure from reading these books - and I absolutely adore Kaz and his crew) + Bardugo's Language of Thorns, I'm in love with this one;
Sanderson's Stormlight Archive, of course;
and (because, next to fantasy, I read primarily nonfiction) The Seabird’s Cry. It's so beautifully written and so well researched.

Also the new Witcher anthology 'Claws and Fangs' deserves a honorable mention, as it was so great to get into this world again, and my heart just couldn't keep up because I grew up on The Witcher books, and it meant so much to read something new about Geralt and his fellows.

I really need to continue the Mistborn and Shades of Magic series. I read both first books this year and never continued. It will happen in 2018 though...I hope! haha.

I have decided to finally pick up The Final Empire next year. It's been on my radar and my TBR shelf for a while but I have actually decided it's finally time!

Jim Butcher... I was actually thinking about reading his "The Codex Alera" series next year. That series sounds so much fun indeed !

I think I’m trying to read too many big SFF series at once. I know I need to space them out but I don’t know which to read first! All of your books are on my TBR. Ahh the struggle of so many good books!!! You had a great reading year girl!

I love the way you talk about your faves. Kinda like what I do with Malazan. Borders on screaming at strangers to read the books. I'll definitely be picking up Mistborn.

I´m new to your channel and you made me really eager to get back to Sanderson´s novels and start The Way of Kings! I adored Mistborn so much. Also, Red Rising sounds fantastic!
Great video, I´m looking forward to seeing more in the future :D

Great list!! My favorite adult books are mostly comics, the volumes of Saga I read (six and I'm currently reading seven and I'm sure it will make my list - Saga is my favorite series of all time!!), the DC Comics series Bombshells, and the graphic memoir The Boxer; besides those definitely Landline by Rainbow Rowell :)
Happy Holidays and Happy reading!!

It's odd I tend to check in when you cover the Dresden Files.
