Things I’d tell my 20-year-old self by Toni G♥️

1. Everything that’s happening right now is a preparation for what you prayed for.
2. There are no mistakes, only lessons learned.
3. Smile more often, people think you’re suplada.
4. It’s okay to eat alone.
5. No one understands your vision because God gave it to you and not to them. So keep going.
6. Be grateful to your dad because he saved your heart from being broken many times.
7. Your mom is not your enemy. She’s the only woman in this world who wants what’s the best for you.
8. Forgiveness will make you feel lighter.
9. Holding on to anger, grudge, hate, and bitterness will hinder your blessings.
10. Don’t be afraid to be different.
11. Never betray yourself just to please others.
12. Forgive your parents. They were learning too.
13. It’s okay to say no and people will not like you. It’s not the end of the world.
14. Every ‘no’ you get is necessary so you can deserve a ‘yes.’
15. One day when you hold your child, you will realize what truly matters in life.
16. Your achievements in this world would be forgotten. But how you made an impact in someone’s life will remain forever.
17. Don’t aspire to be popular. Aspire to be effective.
18. What you say to yourself matters the most.
19. It’s okay to fail atleast you tried.
20. If JESUS is all you have, you have everything.
