That quest was so emotional 🥹 but honestly it felt like we were played because the traveler sibling and abyss sibling would forget the reunion and most of all Dain never came back after his battle with the Abyss sibling, I honestly hoped this quest took place in Fontaine since last years took place in Sumeru already. It would have been awesome to see the abyss sibling underwater and have an interaction there.

I feel like these small difference is what make people (including me) think that Lumine is more Serious while Aether is more expressive or optimism

lumine really does kinda feel lol she’s the more reserved of the two. I know for gameplay sake they’re practically the same person but these little differences they have really adds to them feeling like actual characters and not just placeholders for the player. Also different dialogue sometimes

imo lumine is more sappy in this cutscene, like her expressions make her seem more emotional while Aethers expressions and movements make him seem more mad at lumine than emotional, because she can’t/won’t give him definitive answers

One detail I noticed is that Lumine's pose when confronting Dain is the same as her official artwork. The only difference is un the artwork she use the other hand to hold the sword

I play lumine as the MC. The last photo really has this portrayal of Lumine being sad and looking down thingking why her brother does this and that. While aether is looking away holding bacl the things he wants to say to her. Either way i love them sm

I think aether as the abyss prince in this quest was really good. His expressions felt like the abyss prince legit thinks that what they're doing is for the good even with bad methods. Kinda reminds me of Rene (narzissenkreuz)🤔

The “different pose” is naturally just because female body types and male body types have different “thinking” poses in photo mode
