The Federal Government calling us irresponsible is funny

Anyone who wants to disarm you and limit your capability to effectively protect yourself, loved ones, property and this country is the enemy. ✌️🤓👍🇺🇸🇵🇷

When the government comes to take Our Right to Keep Arms, it becomes time to Bear Arms!!!

Basically the government decided he's not a person. That's horrible.

If he was not "Among the people" why did he have to pay taxes?

If a misdemeanor revokes the bill of rights, you don't have a bill of rights.

I'll take that further: if you've served your sentence, the bill of rights should apply, if we're to believe in its reason to exist.

The constitution doesn't say, "Responsible, law-abiding citizens.". Period.

The government is so screwed up. It's supposed to be for the people, not against them. Thanks for what you do.

If felons are not citizens of the USA then they should not pay extortion money ( taxes).

If and when he's paid his debt to society, he's paid his debt to society.

That’s absolutely not constitutional on any level. If it ever is supported by the Supreme Court- It is the duty of We the People to protect our rights by ignoring their decision and express it in a manner they cannot ignore.

My cousin is a non violent felon. He never hurt anyone, and I want him to get his gun rights back. It used to be that getting a Felony was difficult, you had to actually commit a serious crime.
Thanks to the crime bill you can be a felon easily, just make one false move.

Sick of the supreme court continually refusing to hear and make decisions on our 2a cases and instead kicking them back down for lower courts to do again.

All these years and the federal government still doesn't know the definition of shall not be infringed upon😮

Can anyone tell me one thing that has improved in California from all these “amazing 2A cases”? I can’t carry my gun, I can’t buy hundreds of guns I can buy in every other state, I can’t carry more than 10 rounds, I’m restricted from how many guns I can buy, restricted from how much ammo I can buy. They track every gun and bullet I buy. I was even denied ammo last time because my cell phone number changed.
What has gotten better?

Once the government is allowed to grant itself a power, it will not return that power - ever. When courts and legislatures decided long ago that certain firearms are banned, i.e., machine guns, short barrel rifles, etc., they then took it a step further and decided that certain citizens can be banned from owning firearms, and then a step further, saying that law abiding citizens must obtain government's permission to carry certain weapons in certain areas, and then even banned law abiding citizens from carrying any weapon, even with the "proper" permits, in certain areas where law enforcement, i.e., citizens with a costume and a piece of metal in their pocket, are still allowed to carry. Now they've apparently declared, on paper, that anyone ever convicted of a class 1 misdemeanor or felony is no longer even a citizen, and therefore not entitled to the protections of the Constitution. The fact that most citizens are okay with this, not only infuriates those who cherish our Constitution, it also shows just how far away from the Constitution we've fallen.

Curious, if he's not part of "the people" how does that play in to the rest of the constitutional amendments and participation in society?

Should of started at the beginning. Why are they counting a misdemeaner as a felony. Stop that one.
