Recent reports have linked Deion Sanders to the Dallas Cowboys head coaching vacancy, fueling speculation about a potential move to the NFL.

While Sanders has previously expressed a strong commitment to building a successful program at Colorado, the allure of coaching in the NFL, particularly with a storied franchise like the Cowboys, could be difficult to resist.

Sanders' charismatic personality, innovative coaching style, and proven ability to turn around struggling programs make him an intriguing candidate for any NFL team. The Cowboys, a franchise with a rich history and a passionate fanbase, could be an attractive landing spot for a coach with Sanders' ambition and desire to win.

However, it's important to note that these are just rumors at this point. Sanders has not publicly commented on these reports, and the Cowboys may have other coaching candidates under consideration.

The potential of Deion Sanders coaching in the NFL, particularly with a prestigious franchise like the Cowboys, has generated significant buzz and intrigue among NFL fans. While the future remains uncertain, the possibility of Sanders making the jump to the NFL continues to be a captivating storyline.

Before leaving JSU, Coach Prime analyzed the situation and realized that there were few job opportunities or conferences that made sense for his next step. Enter Colorado. The University of Colorado was in the wrong conference, had low potential for fan base growth, faced strong competition, and struggled with low revenue generation.

After accepting the job, Coach Prime implemented his plan to increase wins, boost school exposure, generate revenue through a new conference, and position CU as a potential "destination" for players. However, leaving CU for the NFL would contradict some of his past statements: “I can’t coach people who make a lot of money but can’t do their jobs. I’m a father, not a baby daddy, so I don’t follow my kids—I lead them. I have no interest in the NFL because my calling is to help model boys into men.”

The rumors about his departure from CU seem to be a strategy to pressure the university into increasing his annual salary, which he has significantly outperformed and which now warrants an update.

This isn't serious content. A report saying he's the betting favorite is irrelevant to whether he wants that job. He has said and continues to say he isn't going anywhere. And is hiring new staff as we speak. Work a little harder for GOOD content not just click bait

Coach Prime’s Statement on the Cowboys: "To hear from Jerry Jones is truly delightful, and it's intriguing, " Sanders told ESPN Monday night. "I love Jerry and believe in Jerry. After you hang up, and process it, and think about it, it's intriguing. But I love Boulder and everything there is about our team, the coaches, our student body and the community."

I pray for Deion and CU that he doesn’t take that job. Jerry would boot you in a year or two, whereas CU would keep you for years no matter what.

lol.. no emergency.. he’s going through contract negotiations and he’s a master with the media.. I would’ve been shocked if he didn’t reach out to someone

He’s not going anywhere. His style of coaching is great for kids… not so sure it will work on adults

Dallas would be taking a massive chance on a coach with less than 5 year experience.

Then you think Dallas would have to go get his son? You aren't serious, right?

Deion wouldn't be in any position to make crazy demands. If you isn't falling over himself for the Dallas job, then Jerry will just move to the next WAY more qualified coach.

I'd be so disappointed if we signed Deion, because I'd know it had nothing to do with winning. Deion brings eyes, but he is woefully under qualified for this gig.

I think there's a good chance Deion would take the job if offered. But I don't know what direction Jerry Jones wants to go.

I mean you can’t say no to the Dallas Cowboys and the chance to coach your son. I mean this is once in a lifetime type stuff.

Deion is not going to Dallas. Not until he wins a championship at CU. He's not going anywhere until that happens and maybe not even then. Deion's style of coaching is suited for college kids. Grown ass men in the NFL are not going to take all of the stuff Deion will be demanding.

This is a joke, as there's NO WAY that Jerry Jones would bring in someone will take away the shine from him and his Son. They want a yes Man as a Head Coach and I can't see Deion Sanders wanting to deal with the Owner of the Cowboys hovering over him and telling him how to run the team. But nice click bait title!

That would be a mistake! Dallas is a Mess. NFL is totally different than college!
