I think you're mostly right. Here's what I've discovered on this subject: The Russian Kremlin gives the history of the Russian people. They were known as Scythians in ancient times. If you dig around you'll find the Scythians were also called the Magogians. They occupied the region to the far north and occupied as far south as the Sea of Galilee with a city called Scythopolis. Gog of Magog is the leader of Russia.

It's interesting about 5 years ago Russia made a historic alliance with Turkey and Iran. So, any Biblical invasion from Russia will likely be backed by Turkey and Iran.

The Bible says in end days Damascus will lie in ruins. It has stood since the days of Jesus. Russia is Syria's closest ally. Does the destruction of Damascus kickoff the invasion of Israel?
