The deathclaws are so dangerous in nv because they live in packs, if they were in packs in fallout 4 and 76 they would be much more dangerous

Fallout 1-NV death claws give off a desert lizard vibe where the new one feels like it would be super arboreal or really adept at climbing ruins of skyscrapers more than open spaces and caves

Unless 76 changed it the deathclaw should only be the jackson chameleon.

FO4 definitely did the deathclaw right. Leathery plates capable of deflecting lasers, actually trying to dodge, and the ability to survive decapitation; they were intended to be the supersoldier prototype. But Obsidian made them an actual threat.
