Much as I love the original Mini, I'm not sure I would want to drive one on modern roads full of full size SUVs driven by people playing with their mobiles. The old Mini is as crash-worthy as a soggy envelope and I doubt that batteries and an electric drivetrain will change it much. They are very cute though!

I know I won't be recognized as such, but I've been a big fan for years. Congrats on another great episode. This may be a bit out of place here, but I haven't noticed much coverage of the big commercial transport event in LA several days ago. I noticed that Freightliner not only introduced a BEV version of the number one selling class 8 big rig in North America (I would think this would rank on par with F-150 in actual environmental and public health import, if not in consumer buzz), but one of their executives made a remarkable speech the like of which I've never heard from any legacy auto/transport industry exec. A lot of EV channels, I wouldn't expect much reaction. But I would be very interested to hear a Transport Evolved take on this watershed moment.
