I'm about to turn 58 year old and I too was gifted a bag of porcupine eggs by my precious father. And I too took my bag of porcupine to school but I was stingy and refused to part with one. My then best friend never spoke to me again...😢

I gave my boy some porcupine eggs when he was 4-5 yo. I had forgot about them until a week later I saw a shoebox on his dresser. When I opened it I found the porcupine eggs with tiny bowl of water and some Cheerios. He told me it was so if they hatched while he was away they wouldn't be hungry or thirsty 😂
