I think it is a good looking car..
The interior looks comfy too..
For the money good value..
I also like how the car makers are using different colours for the interior instead of all black 👍

I’ve bought one of these. Great car. I like the centre console arrangement (phone stays in my pocket) I’m 6ft5 and it has heaps of leg room front and rear. Acceleration isn’t face melting but it’s no slouch. And for an EV it has a fairly normal instrument cluster/control set up. I wish it had a 360 camera but other than that I’m very happy with it

Just put a deposit after a test driving on a long range model. (While pearl colour) Love the look of exterior and interior very smooth and perfect for city driving or road trip sometimes like he said it could be better in some pints but I am satisfied with 550km range and as a family car 😊

Paul, good review as always -Fly repellent I use Clove oil or Lavender oil buy at any chemist 1 drop in your hand rub together then over your face avoid eyes and you are good to go, or mix with water in a spray bottle. Nth Qld really works mustering cattle here!

Of the many parts of Tesla I don't get, the most important is the no screen in front of the driver...at what point did that become an acceptable idea in a car? Also, having the transmission shifter in a screen is ludicrous...

Thanks Paul and team!

Kia can keep their two tone steering wheel to themselves, thanks! Other than that and the brakes, solid offering.
7 year warranty helps, but still going ICE/Hybrid for now.

Do they have plans to launch the EV3 in Australia? I reckon it looks better than the EV5&7. Also the right size for inner city use.

With the Ev3, I understood why the 800v was left out to reduce the price. But for me, the ev5 is a classic touring car, so I just don't understand why they left out the 800v.

At the GT Line level, it is expensive for the size car it is and what you do and don’t get. I test drove an Air. Hated the stupid passenger seat design, no storage, phone on display in the heat, no wireless charging except on GT line, you can’t see the climate screen behind the steering wheel, the stupid touch shortcut buttons on top of the dash that you bump when using the infotainment touch screen. I don’t believe you can’t opt to leave the heated/cooled drawer turned on in the GT line so what’s the point of it? I like the look of it and it felt good to drive.

Earth is 2nd highest spec and still has no wireless charger, very basic stereo and no heat pump. XPeng G6 blows this outta the water. Keep the EV reviews coming Paul.

Problem I have is the price. You can currently lease a Tesla here for £350 a month for their LR or AWD models and about £4500 down. I can't see Kia matching that and since most people dont want to buy the EVs due to the insane depreciation, I don't think that the EV5 will be much competition vs the Model Y, especially if the Juniper gives the same quality of improvements that the Model 3 Highland did over the OG Model 3.

Do the speed sign recognition and driver attention warnings need to be turned off each time you start the car?
