"Jokes on you I'm gay" -Says everyone in the locker room.

"teenage boy or lesbian" is one of my favorite guessing games

ETA: this was something I used to say back in high school. think 2006. my knowledge of the trans community was minimal. I would dive deep into the trans community in the following years. this wasn't meant to be an offensive joke. just something I said when I thought someone was attractive.

As an openly lesbian person in the girl's locker room, this and the "stare at the wall so you don't think I'm creepy" was my entire locker room experience

Once a girl thought I was a boy in the girl's bathroom and started screaming at me.
It was a sad day.

My sister had short hair in 8th grade and people often thought she was a boy. One day there was a sub for her science class. The sub called her name, "Alexandra", and she said "here". The sub didn't believe her and had to check her math book to see that she had written her name down as Alexandra and this was in front of the whole class. That sub made her cry💀

Me male with long hair and take care of it everyday. Every random person: "miss... ", "ma'am... ", etc.
Me: "yes?".
Me also: learning to train vocals to have a female voice so I can mess with everyone.

Edit: idk why this has 10k likes and barely has any hate comments but damn. Thanks.

My cousin Grace has short hair, and people always mistake her for a boy. Like once for athletics, we had to line up in the 11 yr old girls line, and one girl rudely told her, “Uhm, the *boys* line is over there?” Then the girl looked at Grace twice and said, “Oh my gosh. I am *so* sorry!” Grace looked so hurt and offended, and I could tell that she was trying hard not to cry.

I got a buzz cut one year, and people kept asking why I was using the women's restroom and locker room. A girl started to yell at me when I went into the girls' locker room cause she thought I was a boy. At one point, people started to tell me I'm masculine for being a girl. When I was growing out my hair, I had a kid come up to me during a contest for my school and asked me my pronouns. He couldn't tell if I was a girl or boy and didn't want to be rude, which was nice of him.

I always get stared at in public/school bathrooms and changing rooms for having short hair and dressing more masculine; it'd get to the point where i was just so anxious to go inside and i felt guilty for just being myself. We shouldn't have to prove anything ❤

I am a guy and had long hair in middle school, I’d feel uncomfortable taking my shirt of at public pools would stare at me like “what is this girl doing with her shirt off”

I remember my substitute going "Can anyone help him?" And I had to let her know I'm a girl 😭 I'm pretty sure the class was confused on who she was talking about

We had that problem. One girl at our school she was lesbian and she was new but… only a few knew she was a girl. Me and my friends had to stand up for her cuz she never had enough confidence. We tried to make her life easier but it never did. One day she did something unbelievable. She came to school with long hair and pink clothes and makeup. She tried to act like some other person and we couldn’t stand it. But the bullying stopped for a while. But then she went back and some things did change. No more locker room problems, no more girls whispering about what she wears. She is now one of the most independent girls at our school and she is strong. She now has a girlfriend and goes to a different school but we stay in touch.

When you talk in game chat and they think you're a 12 year old boy 😭💅

I confused some 7th grade girls once because they couldn't tell if I was a boy or a girl. They finally asked me what I was and I answered. They bought me chocolate afterward to apologize for the uncomfortable question.

Once when I was 14 I got kicked out of a change room by some Karen who called a security guard about a "boy sneaking into the girls locker room to stare at them" I'm a girl and I was literally staring at a wall 💀💀💀
