I really don't get this taxes. If I have a savings account, I don't sell anything by the time I go to retirement, this should not be taxable every year?! What when I take all of that money out, let's say at 65 years old, have 200 000€. Do I need to pay that 30ish% on 200 000€?! That would be insane. This 7% of positiv gain would be eaten by taxes 😮

I wanted to clarify one small thing. I am a doctoral student in Germany and receive tax-free stipend. Meanwhile, I am trading in US stock market with IBKR broker. I am Pakistani national. My capital gains for 2023 is less than 1000 euros. Should I file this year's tax just because I am trading stocks? Because my stipend is already tax-free and my capital gains for this year is also tax free.

I have started a saving plan in Sca.Capital in stock and ETF.
Every 16th will debited, 16th is over and amount is also credited. Where can I see the quantity assigned to me?
Ex, Stock/ETC LTP is 22 euro, saving amount per month. 50 euro. Normally I should get 2.27 qty on that stock or ETF right?
