Death by overwork is a problem in Japan.

That explains the low birth rate. There are not enough young people to be abused by the elderly.

I'll stay in America and just visit Japan.

My relationship failed when we went to Japan for my ex’s work. He was overworked to the bone by the company and the seniors and managers. Constantly belittled, shamed, guilted into fitting into the status quo at work until he lost tons of weight, stoped sleeping and no matter how much he tried to quit they just kept threatening and guilting him to not leave. Our relationship finally ended after I decided to go back to Canada and he said he would meet me and quit his job but then he didn’t have the guts to quit because of fear for his future opportunities. The black companies in Japan are a cult. A cultural poison that destroys the average person. It’s obvious to me now why the birth rate is so low, and the suicide rate is so high. No matter what I said to him; his Japanese work culture just was so hard for him to shake. It’s over now between us. But I send him messages to remind him to eat and sleep because he just wouldn’t since working at this company. This was this year in 2024.

Half of the things in this video are, as usual, bs…..or absolutely exaggerated. I really want to know which source this girl use….

You will be insulted daily. They kicked me out of the company truck in the middle of no where and demanded I take off my uniform in public. When I refused, my superior robbed me. If you are low level you literally get treated like a slave.

No wonder why the youth of Japan is leaving the country and moving to countries like the U.S. While the majority of Japan is adults over the age of 40 years.
Personally, I like to visit Japan for vacation. But it will be a cold day in hell when I move to Japan and work there.

The idea is to not work anywhere. I understand people's deep seated need to 'fit in' to society somewhere, but a job is just a way for you to make someone else money. Watch, observe, think, and if you have the correct mindset, find a way to have other people work for you while you visit Japan as a tourist.

Japan is such a messed up society.
But in 50-100 years it will be a moot point.

Sounds like a workers nightmare with no relief…no wonder alcoholism and depression are so prevalent there…

They should work less and make more babies. Change your perspective of life to bloom a new generation.

Right here in the U.S. the non U.S. born employees are working harder and demanding less than the U.S. born counterparts. I’ve seen in my thirty something years working for the tech companies in the U.S.

Why is it like this in Japan? I have never heard of such obvious abuse to this degree.
