I took a trip to @traderjoes to snag some fall stuff, and saw this maple syrup! If you know me and my love for bourbon, this was an instant buy!

I came up with this idea and ran with it… the end result was one of the best bites of food I’ve had all year!

Ingredients:

• 80/20 ground beef formed to 3-4 oz balls/ Patties
• @cusocuts maple bourbon rub
• 1 lb bacon
• 2-3 tbsp Maple Syrup
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 white/yellow onion thinly sliced
• Munster cheese
• Bun of choice
• Ranch

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375 F

Lay out your bacon on a cooling rack placed on a foil line baking sheet. brush on the maple syrup and then season with pepper and the bbq rub.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until caramelized and then set aside.

Head out to the blackstone and start to cook the thinly sliced onions on high heat. After about 1-2 mins, add some Maple Bourbon rub and continue to cook for 5-7 mins. In the last minute or two of cooking, drizzle on maple syrup and let that caramelize into the onions.

Next we can place down our 3-4 oz Patties and smash them into the griddle. Cool for about 2 minutes on this first side, flip, and top with bbq rub and cheese.

Let the cheese melt, toast your buns, and get ready to put it together! Start with the bun, ranch, onions, the Patties, 2 slices of bacon, and a top bun with ranch!

The flavor on this was delicious and the maple bourbon flavor was layered in beautifully!!!
