I totally agree. Black men must know there is nothing cool about going to jail.

We need more black engineers and doctors. Every body can't make it to professional sports

While systemic racism is real, we must admit many times that some folks are just straight up committing a crime that they deserve to be jailed for and no one made them do it.

This is a powerful commentary to us, black men. Truth is that it is not easy to hear, but it is necessary. Time is up for the blame game especially when you are a man over 21 years old. We all know there are major issues with the American penal system. But we can’t keep going for what we know are traps designed to stifle our futures…

Every young brother needs a father in his life.

His Dad is a deadbeat... Luckily, his Mom provided for Travis Hunter Jr. ... Congratulations to Travis Hunter Jr and his Mom. 💯

I have chuckle so much with this commentary!!! Tell those black men again…. stay out the system & present with your family!!

Nice video I mostly agree.... however in reality it is more easily said than done but not impossible....not everyone is fortunate enough to have relatives and others or positive people in their lives to support and be there for them....but I most definitely agree with the message.... thanks everyone....🎉😅

As black woman & my brother, I work hard...stay out of jail, in honor of my parents & my own, self-dignity. Im too proud of them as my PARENTS, as their CHILD!

I've seen other family in trouble w/the law, no thank you. 🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️

Great job at getting the information the news didn’t really get to this.

Add Deion sons too. All of them became his brother. Shedeur pushed behind the scenes to recruit him. He is his sports brother. The two older Sanders boys Jr. And Shilo, are Travis personal mentors and brother. They are closer to him outside of sports. Deion is like a second dad. The Sanders village helped him.

I agree, where was young Jordan Neely's father or family when he was on the train desperate and hungry? BM do need to get more involved. We can't have people out here menacing others, then some "schill" stirs up outrage because of it. If I ever got involved in any protest, the victim's hands and reputation better be clean. Not just because of skin color. This might not be a popular opinion, but it's sure mine.

Being Black and poor is no excuse. I came from a large family and we were poor but Dad stressed the need for education. Mom made sure we were exposed to the fine arts and whenever there was free concerts, plays, or ballets we got dressed up and attended. To this day we love the fine arts. Dad made sure that we read, so the summer times were spent at the city library checking out books to read. All of us finished high school. As teens my brothers and I never hung out with those who reputations were less than stellar because we'd be guilty by association. It's easy to stay out of jail. My parents never had to go to the police station to get us out of jail. We never disgraced our family. My parents are gone now and I'm retired from a lucrative career. No baby mama drama from any of my siblings.

I miss seeing my brothers in my community. It used to be so so many of them. I took a visit once to a state correctional facility in my State with a minister for a program and ran into brothers I hadn't seen in YEARS! 😢😢 We need our men!

Yes. Black men do everything in your power to stay away from the police and jail. This is a time where anything that happens to you will be condoned. Pay child support, take care of your children, start businesses, avoid any interaction with law enforcement. Black women and men we need do everything possible to protect ourselves and to cultivate good marriages and relationships.

He got14 kids. He and Travis mom were teen parents. His mom made a great move getting him out of Florida. His dad gave him the talent.
