In this video, I'm sharing my internship in London experience. In 2018, I went to London to do an internship abroad with the Erasmus Plus Traineeship Program. If you live and study in a European country, you're probably familiar with the Erasmus Plus Program - did you know you can go and work abroad within the program, too?
This is Part 1 of my Erasmus experience series. In this video, I'm explaining what this program is about, whether you can get a paid or an unpaid internship, how much you allowance will be, and more useful tips about doing an internship with Erasmus Plus. Later in the video, I'm sharing my experience - how I applied, what I was doing in London, where I did my internship and whether I recommend doing your internship with Erasmus.

Perfect video. My mum has also taken part as a teacher in 3 Erasmus programms. In fact she organized all of them and I can tell that she was really passionate and dedicated and that's why they managed to get the money and all of the things related. She was working sooo hard when she was doing all of the paperwork and it's sad that her colleagues didn't help her that much. However, her hard work was totally paid off. They went to London, Rome and Madrid. Only teachers took part in the programme because they didn't want to take the responsibility to take their students with them. They had the opportunity to visit international schools and they got in touch with teachers of these schools. They also attended daily classes in English about different subjects. I guess it's fascinating to get to know how the school system works in other countries when being a teacher. They also had the chance to get to know the cities but they mostly went to museums and the programm was full. It was really interesting to listen to your experience and I've just heard so much about Erasmus. I feel that I have to try this out when I will be a student.(I'm 14 now)

Ta rozmowa to dla mnie bardzo inspirująca lekcja tego, że wszystkiego można się nauczyć, że trzeba walczyć z lenistwem i że zawsze trzeba kierować się ciekawością.

Hey Laura, this video was absolutely amazing! Loved it. I have also applied for my Erasmus+ traineeship and I am due to leave for Spain in November and I am super excited, however I study in Turkey and Turkey is not part of the Schengen region, so I am a little bit worried about my visa process due to the COVID-19. Do you think Erasmus is considered an essential reason to travel to the EU since Turkey is not part of the EU?

Hi! I am from Pakistan, and would like to apply for erasmus. But the website is too daunting, and too many difficult words are used! Can you please upload a video explaining everything about the program with a screen recording? My second question is that can I apply for a traineeship in a hospital? Would I get hired as an assistant Nurse?

Laura, thank you very much for this interesting and useful video! May I clarify something? The company can be any private/public firm, but it has to be from Eramus + countries? In essence, they just sign an agreement with the institution and no other paperwork for the company?

Can we continue our traineeship in a company after the erasmus period of 12 months ends? Like, on our own, without ever leaving that country?

Hi Sorry to bother you I wanted to know if someone who isn't from the EU can apply for a traineeship in the EU. I'm from Pakistan and would like to gain experience in Europe. I also wanted to mention my university doesn't have an ERASMUS+ dedicated webpage, will this hinder my applicationif I am eligible to apply?
