Been in Japan for over 40 years and never have I ever worried about how the Japanese feel about me. I am who i am, period.
A person. Never had any issues. I have a company with Japanese staff. The banks even gives us loans when we need it. It never even dawned on me that we should be treated differently. And we are not. Stop putting your race/color in everyones face. Just be a good person.

He's very charming! I'm glad he's not disrespectful and goes out of his way to be friendly and positive - everyone should do that.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I fall on line with everyone else and don't try to bother anyone around me but I also smile and talk to people and also read people's name tags at the checkout line too. It's really just don't be ghetto or come here with the same baggage that America puts on you.

That’s because Japanese people all too shy but when you talk to them one on one they wish there where Japanese people that was outgoing like you. Japanese people love when people greet them, they just never expect it usually but if more people like you act positively outgoing this way then it will create a chain of more people being less shy which is awesome for japan

Tattoo in Japan is frowned upon bc of the Yakuza where all of them are tatted, whole body tattoos.
