NinjaTrader 8 Tutorial: How To Set up Global Drawing Objects

In this NinjaTrader 8 tutorial video, I will share how to set up and use the global drawing objects to project a drawing from one chart to all charts of the same symbol.

When you make how to vids over a specific topic, i suggest you focus on that topic. When people are tyring to figure out how to do something they want the answer quick so that they can do it and get on with their work.

Thanks- Is there a way to accomplish Global Drawing Objects via Ninjascript after adding for example an object like a rectangle via Draw.Rectangle() ?

After watching your latest AO video, I wanted to try it in playback but was running into problems with the global objects. Oddely my 3 lines for the daily volume profile levels are showing up in all charts but even though global objects is activated on all charts, the AO lines or any new line I add is not appearing on the other charts. So I went to trusty old Google, did a search, and who shows up on top of the list .... I needed a little refresher.

I use the NT8 "drawing tool tile indicator " puts the drawing objects menu into the chart. Fully customisable.

Ninja horizontal line does not show price. I always found this totally absurd.
You can get away with it on crude or ES, but NQ, or RTY, gets real tricky to see exact level. So I use "labeled horizontal line" ( 3rd party ) Unfortunately, not supported in global drawing objects, which is a bit boring. I'll email Ninja about it

This video goes too fast and does not explain it well at all. You need to left "double" click on the drawing obect to get to the properties window.
