NinjaTrader 8 Tutorial : How To Use Market Playback (Update 2023)

My chart doesn't move at all.. I press play set all sorts of dates.. Nothing happens. Is there a specific chart I have to open like a replay chart or something?

The Ninja trader playback is very slow on hostorical data. I have al the downloaded data. Is Playback data faster ?

market replay just doesnt print candles when i click play. It runs through the time, and i can drag the time along and it will then jump print all of the candles to that time, but it wont work when I try to play it

Is there a way to see all the market replay data that you downloaded? Do the downloads automatically delete themselves after you exit out?

Do you know how to get data further back then 3 months as mine doesnt go further back for futures

Got a question your chart shows your pnl after you take a trade, mine disappears as soon as the trade closes out, is there a setting i'm missing to make that happen?

My playback always starts at 11 PM and seldom actually plays and when it does I have no clue why

Great video. I do like option 3 the best. But DAMMM there are a lot of steps. And you never backtrack on how to restore the preferred default settings. 😂 I'm afraid I'd screw my system up, and get things back to where I'm able to LIVE TRADE in my SIM or EVAL accts.😂

I know, I know.... Just write my steps down, and refer to them when I'm ready to restore my settings. Aggggh! 😂
