Wow. No kdding. Reset the tv using mute 182 and power button with three times enter did work.
Our 55” tv lesss than 4 years old we got from Sam’s club was acting up for last two weeks. Some days it would stay on without issue and since this morning kept turning off & on without giving me option to follow your steps. I waited patiently and than quickly hit those steps till I saw factory reset button. So far so good. Working great for last one hour. Appreciate the steps Nick.

Wow! Checked all sorts of "fix" videos for Samsung and no fix. This is the first one I found on how to factory reset. That worked! FYI, following other video troubleshooting steps made it appear that the main board was shot. So glad I found this and didn't order a main board. Two thumbs up!! Thanks!

Nick, the short repair seems to have worked I went thru the steps you suggested & my TV turned off… aaaannnd it’s stayed off. 🎉🎉 But, I’m afraid to turn it back on. LOL Either way, you’re the best!!! The only site that’s to the point where/explanations & do it so quickly!!!!🎉 At the very least it turned my tv off without turning back on off & on. 😊😊😊 Thanks!!!

I acutally just commented on another of your videos but i noticed in this video that your first step of unplugging the main board from the power board should allow the backlights to stay on correct? When I unplug my power board the backlight and sound go off? Does this mean my power board is the issue? My tv is Samsung QN55Q7FNAFXZ with a power cucling issues and the standby light flashes 5x

Thank you for this excellent video. My Samsung 50" Crystal USD TU7000 flashes on and off but won't stay on. I disconnected the ribbon cable to the TV's left side. The backlights all come on and stay on. The audible power also sounds on bootup. There's a problem within the left side circuit or a malfunctioning LED string. What do you think?

I just lift the back of my tv from the wall mount and that usually does it. When it’s being really bad I’ll smack the back of the tv which works too. 3 years of this bs I might try your method 😂

Hello I left message here befure but it disappeared . Anyways my TV red light flashes and it won't come on black screen but looks like it is trying to but shuts off and comes on the red light again blinking and shuts off again. I dud what you said I disconnected the main board plug from power supply and plug TV on it but no flashing lights then I plug the power supply back on and TV plug back on also then white flashing light again . Yours when u unplug power supply and plug your TV plug you get white lights . Mine does nothing . So what can it be?

Turn of anynet under setting, sorted mine, make sure you disconnect all cables

Instead of using the popular "tape" fix which takes some guesswork can't a simple JIG with a flat ribbon cable and DIP SWITCHES be used instead? This will save applying and then moving the tape until the bad traces are found.

Hey!!!
My Samsung UN55MU6300F TV has been in a power cycle and i have done what you showed in the video.I narrowed it down to either the motherboard or the T-con board.

Motherboard Behavior:
• When connected to the power supply, the backlight turns on, dims briefly, and then returns to full brightness.

T-Con Board Behavior:
• The T-con board has two connectors. If you disconnect either one, the backlight turns on but quickly dims and stays dim.
Since both wires are connected I suspect that the tcon could be the culprit here.
I’m just confused. Please help !!
