This tutorial is 6 years old so you may never see my comment but I loved this 2 part tutorial. I had already done the flashlight test before I found this tutorial but I didn't know what to do next.
I checked your channel. I'm glad you're still creating content in 2023.

Your candid instructions are the best so far I followed. My BRUM TV LED stopped functioning at the beginning of the year. Its warranty had expired but I was referred to the company workshop in Kenya. The company charged me USD 65 to replace them. this was too much and I had the TV returned without repair. I got the New LED from a dealer at $20 and fixed it myself. Thanks so much for this useful information

Wow you know your stuff. My tv screen went out but I still have sound. I ended up buying a new 65 inch tv. But as I type this I have the old tv apart and I'm going to try and fix it. I enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together. So this will be fun for me! I just hope I get it working. Lol wish me luck!

This clip is very promising, and very educative. So precisely elucidated and needs loads of patients as its absolute delicate handling followed by pinpoint precision. Wonderful presentation which definitely deserves applause and a great thumps up. God bless your hands. Jacolyn (Srilanka).

1:36 "there is a chance you can get hurt, or even damage the TV" Glad to see a TV technician who gets his priorities straight! LOL

Thanks so much. Gave my TV a really good deep clean at the same time. It really worked. Changing the LED strips was 100% the easiest and most satisfying part of the job 😂 I did swear a lot when we got to the part where you said we should have removed the TV board to get the white pins out. Still, no big deal. Sorted my TV for £22. ❤

Thanks for this video, Tampatec! My LG TV was exactly as on the video. I was able to follow all the steps easily. Painters tape worked great to keep the screen and the frame together. I didn't need the suction cup, since I taped the screen to the frame and I was able to remove the screen by lifting the frame. The tester and led strips from ShopJimmy worked great as well. Only negative point is I lost 3 nails by trying to unclip the frame! Then I realized a flat screw driver worked much better! Again, great video and easy to follow. I would add that it's easier when you disconnect all the electronic boards ans remove them, so you don't have to worry about damaging electronic components when you flip the TV

I have a 49 inch Toshiba that's going bad, some days it works fine, but I'll say that whenever weather gets a little colder it begins to fail, but based on your videos it seems that it has a LED issue. So, I will go for it and open it up to see how it goes. I like your videos TampaTec, they're nicely done.

Hi it's Wayne from Affordable Mobile TV Repair. Very good video, and I would like at add a few thoughts. You can actually repair LED strips when the strips are out of stock. I have been repairing LED strips for 5 years and have few call backs. As long as you decrease you BL setting to 60% and update your firmware(if available), you should have no problems. This week I will be posting the procedure on how to repair LED strips on my website.

I've never posted any comments on Youtube before but I recently had my 50'' Hisense tv go out. While my 2 year old was going crazy not being able to watch Peppa Pig, I bought a small tv as a temporary quick fix so I could tear the tv apart. Even though the one you're showing is a LG, it's very similar to the Hisense I'm currently working on. I was very skeptical about removing the actual tv screen as I'm aware they're very fragile but was more at ease watching you do it. Very helpful video. Appreciate the walk through and explanation of what and why or how to do what.
