Nice video. One additional fun fact: I worked at Chrysler HQ from 2002 - 2007 and near the end of the Chrysler/Daimler debacle, the new directive was to place a Hemi in everything and damn near all efforts were placed into making that happen. Fast forward to today, and you see the fruit of that labor.

Wow, what a surprise. Most guys would have just listed everything absolutely wrong, going on a tirade, and I wouldn't blame them because it's a lot easier to make content being critical, and deconstructing a design, especially when you've got experience wrenching, and building these engines...but you gave credit where it was due! Takes a big man to look at things from the positive perspective. Heck, made me feel/look like a hater critical of the Mopar, when I'm supposed to be the Mopar guy Lol!

Hemis have grown on me lately since I owned one. But the LS family will always be superior to me just more reliable and efficient

The 5.7 is more responsive to mods than the 6.4, that’s why you don’t see many fully built and modded 392s, it just makes more sense to just get a Hellcat. It’s also not like you can’t build a 1200 hp LT, Hennessy will even give you a warranty.

This engine series has been awesome. You should do it for every performance engine out there, JDM, Euro, and moar American muscle.

From a technical standpoint you covered the Hemi quite thoroughly. Excellent expression and attention to detail in research. As a GM guy, respect.

I think we can all agree if everybody threw everything they could at any of these platforms you can close to a couple thousand horsepower out of any of them Dodge Ford and Chevy

The Eagle heads are an absolutely fantastic design. They respond well to porting on top of the fact that they flow pretty wild numbers right out of the box.

Not what I expected at all, well done! No sensationalized click bait crap here. Great knowledge and well presented. Not just a spam over view like most. You took the time to show some solid technical. You presented the ring-land and clearance issue nicely. You didn't dumb it down for views and still presented it in a way that most will understand it easily. Liked.

Procharged my 392 yellow jacket cracked 6 pistons.
Went with the HHP/BES forged 392 🤌🏽
620/590 on 8psi low boost
Twisted the driveshaft 😑
Went with DSS carbon fiber 1pc. Blew out the axles 🤦🏽‍♂️
Went with DSS half shafts 💪🏽
Now its all rated @1500hp lot more aftermarket parts but its good now
Transmission is def at the brink tho.

Man the SRT-4 was the coolest and most unique SRT made especially in it's class. Nothing was ever like it and it made great power, smoking cars 2 to 3 times it's price. The exhaust note was heaven sent

Another thing to note with these engines, is that the truck blocks 6.4 bge, were more robust like the hellcat block, and the truck heads use a different casting, but the same alloy as the hellcat heads. And also flow very well.
