I also find this Flat UI design very appealing. It's good to be able to put a name on it now.

I just stumbled on to your videos today, and have had them playing on my second PC while I work today. You have some great information to present. I just wanted to say thanks. I'd love to see your take on application design for tablets, and specifically design for data entry applications on a tablet.

I do really like the aesthetic impact of the single page design, but as Ugo stated, multiple pages will be better for SEO. Breaking your site into individual pages allows you to create focused content for the page rather than spanning everything on your site. You will have a hard time ranking well (although it can be done) for UX design with a single page that talks UX design, interface design, and back-end development. SEO impact aside, it makes for amazingly simple and beautiful websites.

I do see the flat design a bunch but some of those minimal textures are still persistent. I have a hard time choosing to add embellishments if it does not add to the interaction of the site. But sometimes it seems a little texture can really help organize a space. Love your videos btw!

agree with all of your preferred methods in this video, aside from #2. Single page design is fine when concise, yet, really large, over-scrolling website design like the example you provided turns off my eyes, as if I am looking at the website through a magnifying glass. Thanks for the video, Mike.
