Traxxas sand car disc brake adjustment how and why

How and why to adjust the front disc brakes on the Traxxas pro scale sand car.

Not that I have one but I would have love to see the flattening of the disc break. More power to You man.

I had the same issue with right wheel being stuck out the box

I think the issue is wheel flex I only bent a rotor when I ran the sand tires any other time running the X Mallet wheels I have not had any issues with the brakes I feel its like 2 things going on the more aggressive tread keeps the wheels spining so sand doesnt pack up and it being a thicker wheel protects the rotors because there is no flex you can see what it looks like on my channel if you want yeah the rotors are surprisingly thick luckily I have a rotor truing tool for my mountain bike I ended up using to straighten it

Even after I ran it and adjusted the brakes still the same issue I’m running xrt wheels to try and have even wear

Would it be better to just leave the front brakes off? I’ve seen a lot of videos of this car and they almost all are having trouble with the front brakes getting stuck or the discs getting warped. We do not have the Funco overhere in Holland yet. I want one!
