With paddles on the rear they could have put a more specific sand tire on the front that actually helps turning. Those tires don't grip at all on the sand clearly, they just push.

I got to give Traxxas credit here this is a pretty Kick-Ass car.. it definitely has done something attracts his vehicle hasn't done in quite a few decades which has made my want list. Speaking of decades the use of actual disc brake systems both hydraulic and cable actuated like on this car has been done for quite a long time in this scale of RC cars. So just know this is not something new that Traxxas just came up with. It's been done many many times before my other manufacturers. I think the main reason why the chromed the suspension arms so that looks more like what the real suspension arms would on the real thing. Maybe they come out with some clear aluminum arms that would really look trick on this.

It is an impressive vehicle. As for the shiny drivers, it looks like that interior can be removed and then 'flattened' with paint. Again it is an amazing vehicle. Not my cup of tea, but I can see many rc'ers wanting one.

I ordered it me of these then cancelled the order just wasn’t sure, then my LHS owner made me a deal I couldn’t refuse, he needed some bobcat work done, I still owe on it but it’s on the way in a couple weeks I Geuss, I was thinkn put some slicks on it and burn up some tires with it, I watched another video and that guy was jumping it like a middle with very balanced flight and great landing so I’m excited to get it now thanks for the info !!

That "Fun"co looks very fun! I love ripping my X-Maxx at the beaches on Manitoulin Island. It's also great fun on the frozen lake in the snow with studs on the tires. ;)

It's a fricken riot at the beach. Can launch the snot out of it and lands great. Instant wheelies on demand. Worst part is the lack of turning when you want it the most. 😂
