Hullbreak is like lottery. either you survive a hit that should be lethal, other times you get killed by the APDFS making a scratch into the paint.

I think that no matter how much reasoned evidence and explanation you put up, there will always be trolls and the socially inept posting nonsense. Your track record speaks for itself. Keep doing your thing. I love the classic German analytical approach and dry wit. Thanks for your content.

I would be interested in hearing your opinion about AA radar tracking. It is so hit and miss. Completely unreliable. A great example is when radar tracking is used in an Arcade mode - the aiming point for Arcade and radar tracking when shown simultaneously present differently! So which one is it?!

it still amazes me, how a tram-car can block 400 mm of steel penetraiting apfsds:
Please make them destructable Gaijin.

Imho, radar seems to be more of a "Oh hey, there's a tank there!" spotting tool.

The crew replenishment does do something, but only if you are in a captured base, altho you will probably still die

Can someone tell me how hull break works again. Especially with apfsds, sometimes I shoot a light tank in the center mass hitting engine, some crew, they don't die. Sometimes I clip them on the corner of their tank and they die. Like what.

you can increase the Radar Tracking range if you have the keybind for it set up, i think the maximum radar tracking range is 8km on this vehicle

With that XM1 Its easy to nit and pick at some scenes from last time. In the heat of the moment is much much different to watching it again on repeat later. Often on my videos I find that I miss much more when I look it at again. I blame tunnel vision or what they call buck fever for missed things.

I did extensive hull break testing, the main back plate is coded to initiate hull break regardless of amount damage taken or lack there of to the rest of the tank, all you need is a pen or even fragments to pen through it.

The radar is actually up to 8km max. Bind a key to change radar scope scale and u can alternate between 2km, 4km, and 8km

I like your videos and its rare theres a bad one but I have to give a little criticism here because I like you and want you to improve/offer alternative points of view (BTW when somebody is abusive, I recommend blanking the name so you dont get accused of name dropping to get them abused by idiots who do that kind of thing, it isnt your fault/like you want them to but it makes things easier down the road)

  8:19 lack of reliability on post pen, looks to me like you possibly hit the gun a second time as the enemy tanker moved his gun to swatt the missile, its something I do in heavier tanks as a "pray to the great god nuffle" move and surprisingly works. The damage model in the corner does lie to us at times. (maybe i am misreading it myself)

  9:48 "cant lock on" your radars off it looks like? Its why you didnt get a radar measurment for the japanese avenger either. I think that funny with the "be offended by reality" but I could be misreading it. (from what i am told you can also increase the radar range but as I dont have it, I cant test that)

  For the hullbreak, seems to be the same issue the new US light and many other lights have, where an APFSDS taps and the vehicle explodes, I wonder if gaijin changed something in a recent patch.

  Thank you for going into why you dislike/didnt use the radar, many people were watching the video because they wanted to see the new thing to see if its something they want to go and get, especially as its the only thing that makes this vehicle really unique, to me not showing it off would be like flying a helicopter and not showing off its ability to fire ATGMs (because people would get the vehicle for using that specific part of it).

I am fairly sure you missed the point with the first comment. Missiles in the laucher hit by APFSDS don't seem to explode, and even when you showed the clip of you getting hit with a missile there, the cause of death was hullbreak, not ammunition explosion.
You showed that it isn't save sitting hulldown with it but I really feel like the comment was talking about kinetic rounds, and simply didn't think of chemical rounds splashing down

good stuff! having 3k+ hours battle time (not steam) GoW achievement and tons of tons of maschines i still learn from you! some WT YT channels are funny some are thrilling some are straight up shit! You channel is the realest and most educational on YT keep the good work up! and btw nvm the trolls they will eventually L2P ;)
