To be fair, the red Dead 2's drunk effect not only makes the screen blur But also makes arthur and john's dialogues funnier

Another feature from this game that should be in the second game is people fearing you with a lower honor level, to the point where crimes outside of outright murder won't be reported by the townsfolk. In RDR2 the low honor benefits are very very minor, I think the only real one is gaining more money and jewellery from robberies and dead people.

John’s line, “poor horse. What’s wrong with me?”

I totally agree about the Bounty Hunting.
In RDR2, you have limited number of bounties. I wish we could keep doing them eternally.
It's not for the money, it's for the fun.

The night watch activities are underrated. The most immersive thing about that game for me. You're just like, working for the sheriff and protecting the townfolk with the goodest boy

The thing I miss the most is places having a limit on how many police officers can spawn.

I do wish you could see your crimes listed like you could in RDR1. I'd like to get a number on the carnage I unleashed on the poor NPCs.

I understand why they took half of these out though. Like the properties doesnt make sense. Because Arthur lives in a camp with the gang. So he wouldnt be buying and living in properties. Only reason John does is because he is pretty much living off the land while on the hunt for the gang in the first game and hes on his own at that time. The pardon letter makes more sense in one.. because John works on behalf of the US government technically I guess.. so they didnt want him in prison or jail I'm sure if it happened while he was turning stones . Bounty hunting is unlimited in the first one because it basically boils down to simplicity. Every one is pretty much, Show up, shoot gang, capture leader. In the second game.. the bounties are a lot more unique and have story and substance. So thats why they couldnt do unlimited. Barrell roll is cool, but i can see why they opted for a more realistic approach with two. Skinning cats and dogs thing probably just came down to being and feeling more messed up in better graphics and a more realistic engine. But idk lol

Number 1 for me is the ability to fast travel to way points you set on your map. That feature saves so much time!

I’m dying laughing when he took his horse to the middle of the desert, killed it, skinned it while saying “you stink.”

I still remember beating rdr2 for the first time, and being so exited to see the old map in its new glory. I was disappointed to see that everything I loved was gutted. Armadillo is a ghost town, though tumbleweed is renewed, I still prefer Armadillo. Thieves landing was gutted, MacFarlanes ranch was gutted. Most of the points of interest on the map were gutted. Just a big empty to journal around in.

The RDR1 Low honor benefits were so good, people would actually fear you. And a guy like arthur whos tough and scary would have been feared more if it was in RDR2

Another couple things I wished were carried over are:
1. Do a bounty mission to pay off your bounty if you don't have enough money
2. Fast travel to your waypoint from your camp or stagecoach

I think devs did intend for you to buy properties at some point, because theres a lot of abandoned shacks and buildings that arent dilapidated and look taken care of in random locations around the map, conveniently located not too far from a town. They probably scrapped the idea because they figured it didnt make sense for a criminal on the run from the law to buy a hous.

Another cool feature of RDR is dressing up and blending in with an enemy gang.

I wish some of the outfits in the first game were in the second. I already heard people wanted the poncho but I personally always liked the deadly assassin outfit for the simple fact it's the only one with a badass eye patch. I'm also a fan of the elegant suit. I don't understand why they left some of those outfits out of the second game but oh well.
