All was running smoothly till i had to install jdk, it was installed but after unity, had to switch back to chrome os now when i tried switching back to unity through the CL sudo startunity instead of it starting a bunch of stuff came up saying things like "server terminated with error closing log file" and "unable to connect to server" tried shutting down and turning back on but still same thing. Wonder if i have to reset and reinstall ubuntu all over again...

Alright I've done everything you have said, yet when I right click on the Minecraft file it does not tell me to open with "OpenJDK Java 7" I have even looked through the "Other Applications" the file prompts me with, can anyone help me, I would really appreciate it

Okay I have ubuntu installed and it was working fine yesterday but the next day I opened terminal.  Typed in "shell" pressed enter then typed in "sudo startunity" and it didn't boot in to unity like it was supposted to it stayed in terminal.  A message showed in terminal that said "Server terminated with error (1). Closing log file." I don't know what to do Dave please help.

i installed the java from this video set up the properties but when i right click the Minecraft.jar it do sent appear could you please help!

i get in the minecraft and click play demo then it will just fail to load it help
