Course Trailer: The History and Evolution of Typography

Welcome to VISD 2B36: History & Evolution of Typography. This course, taught by Richard Hunt, covers the origins of visual communication all the way through to the typography of the late 20th century. This is a fully online course with no scheduled in-class meetings. Instead, each week you will watch your lectures, participate in online activities, complete quizzes, and upload your assignments all through Canvas. There are activity and quiz deadlines each week of the course, so it is important that you manage your time well.
