The promise of "no developers" is really only half the story. We're taking a serious look at no-code and low-code solutions. While they may promise to remove the need for developers and make building custom solutions a breeze, the reality may not live up to the hype. In fact, we'll explore how no-code solutions can waste more time than they save and even lead to more bugs.

We'll cover what no-code/low-code apps are and how they're everywhere, from Zapier for workflows to full-scale CRMs like Hubspot. While they may seem like a dream come true for businesses looking to save on developer costs, we'll dive into how they may actually take more time to configure than writing code and cause businesses to make compromises to their vision.

While no-code solutions may work for small businesses looking for quick solutions, larger companies may find that they require too much time and effort to configure to their exact needs. We'll explore how businesses with the resources to hire developers may actually save time and money by doing so.

So if you're considering no-code or low-code solutions for your business, make sure to watch this video first. You may be surprised by what we uncover.

Low code works when you have a robust internal API that you can entrust internal staff to leverage.

As soon as you go above and beyond to accommodate the low code solution it's over.

Great points, fully agree. 1 thing to my nerdy mind: proof with examples would convince me even more 😊

Very interesting. It made me think about the fact that Administration has become DevOps. Those that think administrators don't do any coding have never looked at any of the in depth scripts that systems administrators have written and then must support and maintain. As I listened, all I heard when you said "no-code" was that really you are moving the coding to another position and possibly the type of coding going on. The bottom line is that it still must be done or I believe you would just be creating something that already exists and not providing any value add as a company. That is a viable business model as shown by all the franchise businesses out there, but usually not what a company is trying to do when building an application.
