Love it. It's not cheating. Its keeping up because back then everyone was dancing with that rule book.

This kinda stuff should be what gets you into the Hall of Fame! Bending the rules and finding the loophole is what made it good! Every week they were back and forth fighting for the wins. The fans couldn't wait until the next week to see what was gonna go down.

He immediately regretted telling that, but couldn’t help but do it. Just gotta love racing

This is when Daryl and Neil bonnett we're driving the bud cars for Junior. I used to help out at the shop some as a kid. Gluing on lug nuts and other small tasks.

I wish Nascar would go back to a standard v8 production car. Everyone limited at 500 horses and 2000 pounds.

I wish NASCAR would go back to this, this was the time the entire family sat around glued to the TV cause Grandpa had the race on, best times of my childhood that's for sure

Every driver, every team did try to cheat anyway they could and they were getting away it until nascar started catching teams doing some wicked and bazar cheats making some drivers so fast it wasn’t even a race, well to be fair Mopar had something to do with it, then came the restrictor plates and pre and post race car inspections .I always enjoyed Sunday morning NASCAR pre race to hear what the latest on new restrictions or fines being handed out to drivers for violating rules already imposed.. ah yes the good old days, like with Mr. Brewers story ~everyone was cheating not everyone got caught!✌🏻
