You have to admit Spintires was really great especially for his time but the Devs made Snowrunner even beter and that was a very hard task

One of the things that I dislike about Snowrunner's vehicle sounds is that the sound of the engine seems to just be on a loop and doesn't really seem to follow and gradual increase or decrease in volume and tone. It feels disconnected from the actual rpm of the truck.

No splashes of water, no hot steam from the wheels after blowing into the water, no dirt on the tires, no mud particles like in a mudrunner etc. No mud sound, and no other effects on the snowrunner! No raindrops on the glass when it rains! But there are stones everywhere, but literally everywhere just to extend the game.

Most needed improvement is steering/grip. Why can I turn at what my speedo says is 20mph and not turn. It's like the grip of the tires lags behind the visual angle of the tire. Not to mention I often feel like the rear tires are tucking in, in the same direction im turning.... Effectively ruining the turning radius of most trucks. Take the scout 800 or step side Chevy, turn the wheels left and right slowly and watch the back of the truck wiggle like a dog's butt.

Maybe Mudrunner has the better sound, but Snowrunner is visually stunning

It would be cool if the driver actually turned the ignition when you start the truck and he actually shifted gears on the stick whenever you speed up or shifted from lower and higher gears.

I agree there's needs to be sound improvements the mixing throws me off full rain see hear for a minute or 2 then cuts off while the animation still & the music plays at fuel station for a bit then cuts off only way to bring it back is restart the game patch hopefully a sound improvement mm thinking of bug report but i am sure they already aware still fun game though been playing heavily for the past month

Mudrunner had the best and most realistic sounds. Compared to Snowrunner, they were so much better. When you were idling, high revving or starting up, they were top notch. The sound quality in Snowrunner has little variety and no high idle/rev sound. Plus, your engine sounds the same no matter what kind you get. Snowrunner has shown that their sound department just got lazy and tried to make a deadline. So sad.

I miss when you were just about to get to your destination to finish a mission you would hear the music start to play louder and louder...lol...it was cool for mudrunner, but now maybe outdated for snowrunner.

There is another thing about sounds in SR that is very annoying, that VROOOM VROOOM as soon as you touch the gas pedal. Sounds in SR are so worse than MR. Saber should have polished SR much more. I stopped playing it and went back to MR.
