For those who say only God can forgive sins, not man: You don't get to choose who God chooses to work through. A validly ordained Catholic priest has the power to forgive sins in the Sacrament of Confession. Matthew 18:18

The above excerpts details it, Salvation is about believing in Christ Jesus, the message of the cross and putting his teachings into practice. Yes confession and repentance is good because it is a stepping stone but without been baptised of Holy Spirit and fire, you are as good as the pharisees, who did confession but unbelieved Him.

Mattew 5:20
“For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law,  you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven”
So the Holy Spirit is crucial because HE is the transformer and Sanctifier.

God is almighty, and he knows the past, the present, and the future. He knew all of these that you preach before creating the world. He knew that Eve will bite the apple, he knew the people will sin and get away from Him so why did He created us and why he let us choose if He already knows if we will go left or right at every step?

Oh come on… a sin has to be committed knowingly for God to view it as sin.. if a person doesn’t know they are committing a sin by an act or thought or whatever.. God knows that.

I think Dr Marshall you are sounding too much like a BBM priest of late., and it is starting to concern me quite frankly.
You are not a priest.
It’s fine to evangelise and use your knowledge to inform etc but stop with the “judgenents” eg you are not on the team if you don’t say the rosary every day.,
How do you know whether someone is in the team or not??
You need to re-think where you are going
with all these judgmental positions and stances you are taking..do not sit in judgement of others on matters of theological practice., leave that to the ordained!
