How does that stuff affect plants and wildlife? 🤔

Fire retardants having a negative impact on plants and wildlife is not enough reason to forgo defending your home from fire in my opinion. Everything comes with a cost. Undeveloped land with plants and wildlife habitat was sacrificed so this home could be built and, I assume, so your home could be built as well. What’s another 20 ft buffer? I think this is overall better for the environment than burned down homes and a new neighborhood somewhere else.
