I come from a family born with a quick and very sharp tongue. I was never told how painful words could he and had to learn the hard way.
AS SOON AS MY CHILDREN COUKD UNDERSTAND I taught them. Words spoken outloud can NEVER be unheard. Any thought, scent, seen, felt will be attatched to the words you've spoken. Triggering the one that heard them at any given moment hurting them again and again. Words can KILL. Someone's spirit, self confidence, view if themselves, how they see others .. the damage goes on and on. Sometimes they can push someone too far. The reaction? A need to harm someone else and even their own selves. CHOOSE YOUR WORDS. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. BE KIND. BE COMPASSIONATE.
If what you have to say is negative and must be said .... deliver it with a smile and change the tone. You'd be amazed at how much better your delivery will be received
