Having a random boss from Donkey Kong Country Returns and the inclusion of Tiki Tong? That's insane! And totally unexpected, which is what I want on great theme park rides. So cool.

I love all the cartoony sound effects they included, really feels like a Donkey Kong level 😁

Honestly, after seeing this pov, I feel better about this attraction. The indoor scene where the minecart jumps tracks seems better in darkness and the flow does feel pretty good. Also, hearing the reactions from the people riding it shows that the ride does pack some unexpected thrills. Of course the ride is going to be short due to the small footprint and the fact that rollercoasters are fast (duh), but I do not think it is too short since the experience seems well worth it. My only concern would be waiting 2 hours just to ride this 1-minute ride. I love the animatronics, the false-track is super convincing from the video's perspective, and the music and theming seems well thought out despite what many people are saying. Personally, I think Universal hit the jackpot with this ride and it will be a worthy addition to Epic Universe in 2025! Does anyone else agree or am I the only one that feels this way?

I love how when you're riding this ride at one part you just see Hogwarts in the background like it's hilarious to where it's all donkey Kong and then all you see is just part of Hogwarts lol

I cannot believe they used Tiki Tong, that is so badass, I know it was only a few seconds but still. Also Miner Mole was a pretty good inclusion.

When I played the Donkey Kong game when I was a kid, I used to laugh at how the minecart rails were broken but he kept jumping and running. I never thought it would come true like this.

I mean it’s a solid 1 minutes and 40 seconds. There are shorter big attractions. The environment and immersion are insane! The indoor part def looks better in person obv (think the Mummy povs)

Even if you can see the “hidden” track at some points, I agree that this ride existing and not completely failing is amazing. This ride isn’t made to be a world class coaster. Its supposed to be like Mine Train at WDW or Flight of the Hippogriff at the Universal parks. It’s made to entertain kids and be a fun ride. It looks to succeed at that. It seems it may pack some unexpected punches for the adults. We can’t see the perspective either. If the ride car completely blocks your vision of the hidden track, this track jumping may seem more believable when actually on the ride. The camera does sit above the ride vehicle a lot of times.

crazy how adding people, having the show effects on and just better lighting than the first video we got before it opened makes for 100% a much better experience.
